The objective was to gather and source 100 design references and organize them into a sequential, printed publication.
There were two problems that I encountered with this project: defining the word "design" and figuring out how to house the references.
Instead of defining "design," I simply defined the word "source." Personally, there are many sources that influence my design practice. This made it easier for me to place each source into three categories: People, Places, and Things.
In the end, I alphabetized each source, placed them in their respected category, and published three books with the shared title: The Design Reference.
