This tote bag is made out of 100% Cotton Fabric, hand-sewn and screen printed at The Grease Diner (located in Emeryville, CA). The handles are shorter than a regular tote bag because it is meant to be carried with your hands. But the back of the tote has two adjustable straps made out of the same material. The illustration and tote bag was inspired by Japanese Illustrator and Designer: Osamu Harada (1946-2016). At the height of his career (1980’s), his illustrations were used for a variety of products (catered to women) and were branded: Osamu Goods (under the pseudonym: Dusty Miller). This tote bag is an ode to his work and to further promote Japanese Illustration and Design.
