First In Nautical Athleisure — also known as FINA — is concept developed from a combination of aquatic sports and design. Focusing primarily on sustainability and function, a series of bags were created with swimmers in mind. The material used in the production of these bags are recycled strip-mesh vinyl banners. Originally, this banner was used for outdoor advertisements. But the material used for the banner is actually quite unique and its functionality is perfect for aquatic sports. First, this type of vinyl allows for 37% air-flow which makes it extremely lightweight and breathable. The PVC coating on the vinyl allows the material to be waterproof — allowing swimmers to throw in their fins, wet towels, goggles, or swimsuit without having to worry about the stench, wear, and tear of their bag.
